the revelation behind the Elkton Prayer

In June 1995, the Lord gave Rod Moten a revelation about cities. Cities are places of significant in the spirit. Not only for people, but also for angels and demons. The heart of cities both the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness are after. Whoever holds the heart the city can direct how the people in the city and the surrounding region operate. Demons seek to inhabit a central location in the city. The impact can be observed without spiritual discernment. For example, the impact may be apathy for education resulting in the region having low testing scores. Or the region may have a high level of obesity or teenage suicides. There is  usually a higher level of crime, poverty or illicit activity than the rest of the city.

Our goal is to displace darkness with the kingdom of heaven by establishing a prayer center in Hollingsworth Manor. Through the prayer center, we aim to have a positive impact on Elkton and the surrounding areas by creating an atmosphere rich with the presence of God by people ministering to the Lord via prayer and worship. By doing so, we will help the kingdom of heaven to have a positive impact on Elkton and the surrounding areas. As a result, the prayer center will act as a forward operating base for the kingdom of heaven to help people to desire to be law abiding, peaceful, grateful, prosperous and productive.
